What should I pay attention to when changing tires on my MINI?

If you change a single tire on your front- or rear-wheel-drive MINI, make sure that the difference in tread depth between the new tire and the other tire on the same axle is no more than 2 millimeters. In case of higher deviations of tread depth between two tires on the same axle, both tires must be replaced. For vehicles with MINI ALL4, all four tires must be replaced at the same time to avoid damage to the transfer box.
