How do I deactivate/activate the child safety locks on the rear doors of my MINI?

In certain situations it may be useful to secure the rear doors, e.g. when transporting children. Depending on the model and equipment of your MINI, you activate the rear door safety function with a button in the driver's door control unit or manually with the safety switch in the frame of the corresponding rear door. The secured door can only be opened from the outside after activating the safety function.
