Is my MINI affected by the "integrated braking system (IBS)" recall?

Internal quality control has shown that, in very rare cases, signaling faults can occur in the electronics of the brake system of certain MINI models. The BMW Group has decided on a safety-related recall for the affected vehicles. To check whether your MINI is affected by the integrated braking system (IBS) recall, select the Vehicle status menu in your vehicle or in the MINI App, or go to the MINI.ca. To check recalls for your vehicle on the MINI web page, you will need the vehicle identification number (VIN). You can find this in the MINI App, behind the windshield on the driver's side, and on the VIN label on the driver's side door frame.
